After the success of the Coast to Coast Tour this year we have decided that it was so much fun that we would try and arrange another for 2017. If fact we enjoyed it so much we thought with help we could probably arrange four.

Quarter One

In April one tour that both Karl Edmondson and John Eccles have done is the MK Classic Tour. Its a half day Sunday Tour starting in Milton Keynes that takes in the Millbrook Circuit and the Porsche Driving Experience at Silverstone. One sugestion is that we travel down on Saturday (Call in at Gaydon Motor Museum, then stay overnight in Stratford upon Avon or Towcester and have a meal and get together. The morning after cruise to the start of the Tour, meet at the Porsche experience for a spot of lunch then make our way home.

Quarter Two

Booked through Scenic Tours this is a long weekend in Northern France taking part in the largest Classic Car event in Europe. Based around Laon appox 145 miles from Calais it is an experience not to be missed. All the details on price and itinerary can be found at

They are fantastic people to deal with and have agents in the town should you have any issues. Can I suggest if interested please book early to secure a decent hotel. A £100 deposit secures your booking.

Quarter Three and Four

So this is were you guys come in, we would like two more roadtrips to complete the year. We have great roads here in the UK so we should try and take advantage of them. We already have had people suggest athe Lake District, Northumberland or even the Scottish Borders. If you think you have an idea please let us know and we can try and organise everything obviously with some help from the rest of you.

So please send us your Ideas and lets hit the road with the radio blaring loud! (well not to loud otherwise you couldn’t hear the roar of the engine).

28th Aug 2016 Ripon Classic Car and Motorbike Show.

It was an early start for me on Sunday morning to make it to the meeting place for 9.30. The low cloud across Saddleworth Moor slowed me down but by the time I had reached Leeds it began to clear. As usual even though I arrived five minutes early I was still the last to arrive. (They don’t call me Captain Slow for nothing!)

We had a great turnout, Damian Searby acted as host for the Uk Crossfires and even Mick Allsop turned up to support us even though his rather nice Merc had to live on the carpark!

It was a great day, the rain arrived about 2.00 which put a damper on proceedings but my car of the day in my eyes was this partially restored Jaguar, Awesome!

Here are some photographs of some of the people who attended. Sorry if I missed anyone but it was early.
